We provide general and advanced riding and horsemanship education to horse owners and riders of a variety of experience levels.
Our approach to horsemanship education is based in Western riding, but draws from a range of classical and traditional riding and training principles to support riders and horse owners in pursuing their goals in pleasure riding, ranch riding, working cattle, and beyond.
Our program emphasizes an understanding of how horses think, how to properly balance ourselves and our horses, planning ahead, and problem-solving. We value lifelong learning, asking questions, goal-setting, and pushing our comfort zones, while genuinely connecting with our incredible horses.
Horsemanship & Riding Lessons
We offer weekly riding lessons on school horses for beginners to advanced intermediates, as well as haul-in lesson opportunities for students with their own horse.
We currently have very limited openings in our youth “Horsemanship Track” program, for students already proficient at the walk/trot/canter, who are looking to move towards leasing and horse ownership and pursuing goals related to ranch riding, cattle sorting, or other working Western disciplines.
Consulting Services & Retail Store
After being an equine professional since 2006, owner Laura Pauls has learned a few things along the way. You skip the trial and error process by consulting with Laura, who will assist you in improving you and your horse’s comfort and success. From saddle pads to bits to boots, Laura has recommendations she will tailor specifically to you and your horse, and offers the carefully selected products she endorses for trials and purchases.
